About Elisabeth Evans
As a Medical Science Liaison, I leverage my 20 years of clinical experience as a Nurse Practitioner in family practice, emergency medicine and gastroenterology to support the development and dissemination of scientific information and insights. I collaborate with internal and external stakeholders such as researchers and clinicians to advance the understanding and treatment of IBD. I am an Executive Committee Member of GHAPP (Gastroenterology & Hepatology Advanced Practice Providers). It is my greatest achievement to have created this organization for APPs to have a platform for education and highlight their achievements. I see the ripple effect that educating others has on improving health care for our patients.My passion for IBD stems from my previous role as a sub-PI at UC San Diego IBD CENTER, a national speaker with multiple pharma companies and several publications in peer reviewed journals.
