Evaluate accounting policies and customer contracts to determine appropriate revenue recognition in the areas of general and software revenue recognition based upon application of ASC 605 and ASC 985-605, including gross vs. net presentation and payments to customers.Provide accounting services to acquirers as they prepared financial statements in accordance with US GAAP for a recently acquired target companies. This included a focus on accounting for revenue recognition, conversion of current accounting practices to conform with US GAAP, and the preparation of relevant documentation to facilitate financial statement audits. Experience with documenting and discussing the differences between current U.S. GAAP and proposed FASB changes to the revenue recognition standard and impact of implementation to companies.
