Worked with the National Statistics Offices of over 10 different Latin American countries to conduct an assessment of the capacity of their National Statistics Systems (NSS) to produce basic statistics from censuses, surveys and administrative records using the Tool for Assessing Statistical Capacity (TASC). In 2019, updated the TASC to reflect changes in international standards and methodologies. Produced TASC 2.0 and supporting documentation in both English and Spanish. Developed and finalized a report summarizing the findings from 21 countries in the Latin America and Caribbean region where the TASC has been conducted since 2011. The final report includes country reports, regional summaries and a methodological note.
