ABOUT ELISA MORGANTI
I received my degree in Electronics Engineering from the University of Perugia, Italy, in 2004. In 2005, I obtained a research grant from Johnson & Johnson and the Universita’ Cattolica del Sacro Cuore (Roma) for the study of a piezoelectric micropump for the treatment of hydrocephalus. In 2008 I got PhD in Information Technologies at the University of Trento, Italy with a thesis titled:”Microfluidic modules for lab-on-a-chip applications”. In 2007/2008 I spent an academic year at the University of California, Irvine as graduate student, working on plasma microactuator with Professor John Larue) and on Lab-on-CD with Professor Marc Madou. From 2009, I worked as junior researcher at the Bruno Kessler Foundation, Trento, in the BioMEMS group. My research activity is mainly focused on microfluidics applied to BioMEMS. From 2013 I worked as assistant project manager in the Healhtcare Reasearch and Innovation group in FBK. Currently I\'m Innovation Project Manager at Hub Innovazione Trentino Specialties: Microfluidics, PDMS, BioMEMS
