About Elisa Mejía-Mejía
I have 10 years experience in research and development on biomedical signal processing and data analysis. My main focus is the development of medical devices and signal processing algorithms for the diagnosis, monitoring and treatment of cardiovascular and mental diseases (for more detailed information on my work, please see published research listed under ‘publications section’). I am now looking to move from academia to the health care industry for commercial application of my expertise. My main motivation is to increase the capabilities and applicability of medical devices for personal and clinical use, especially those related with photoplethysmography signals (e.g. pulse oximeters, smart watches, etc.)
