ABOUT ELISA GARCIA

Principal with The Red Bee Group and former C-suite executive with decades of experience guiding management and boards of directors, in the US and abroad, through a myriad of business, governance and legal issues. Having successfully navigated government investigations, mergers and merger integration, international acquisitions and investments, debt refinancings, domestic and international labor issues and legislative and regulatory matters, I provide Boards and management teams with sound advice and practical alternatives. I have counseled Boards through activist campaigns, CEO succession, Board refreshment and the development of risk management and ESG strategies and reporting. I am recognized for a well grounded, yet creative approach to problem solving. I am the former Chief Legal Officer of Macy’s, Inc, Office Depot Inc. and Dominos Pizza, Inc. and I serve on the Board of Directors and as member of the Nominating and Governance and Human Resources and Compensation Committees of Dollarama, Inc, a Canadian retailer with over 1500 stores in Canada and 500 in Latin America. Ms. Garcia is fluent in Spanish and has lived and worked abroad. I am passionate about animals (especially dogs) and protecting our oceans and coasts.
