Worked with a small group of highly gifted students in two three-week sessions for six hours of instruction daily.• Courses taught included:• “Writing and Imagination,” an advanced creative writing workshop for budding authors in fiction, poetry, nonfiction, and memoir.• “Heroes and Villains,” an integrated writing class exploring traditional heroic values and ethics through Joseph Campbell’s monomyth, Greek theater, and modern-day superheroes.• Responsibilities included creating a diverse curriculum specifically designed to challenge gifted students, pushing their critical thinking, analytical reasoning, reading comprehension, and creativity. The goal was to create an integrated educational experience fostering resiliency, teamwork, discussion and fun.
