I launched and now lead Metro\'s efforts to harness the benefits of emerging transportation technologies (autonomous/connected vehicles, shared mobility, micromobility, electric vehicles, amnd online trip planning tools) in the Portland region. I run a first-of-its-kind grant program to fund community-led technology pilots; lead development of data, analytical tools, and research projects to better understand changing transportation habits; write plans and policies (including one of the first regional emerging technology strategies in the U.S.); manage consultant studies; and represent Metro\'s work in front of elected officials, stakeholders, peer agencies, and the public.
