As an Environmental, Safety and Health (ESH) Engineer, Lead, I am responsible for overseeing and managing day-to-day ESH and Construction activities at the Sand Lake Road, Lockheed Martin facility in Orlando, Florida. I have established an excellent relationship with Lockheed’s Subcontractors workforce, Facility Engineering and production center managers. At this facility, all aspects of the safety program are managed by our team to include but not limited to: daily on-site safety inspections, Quality audits (Using the QMS Examiner program), training, recommending policies and procedures, and documentation. In addition, I am responsible for the contractor management, electrical safety, Lockout/Tagout (Using the Brady System), Fire Prevention and Protection, Powered Industrial Trucks, Commercial Motor Vehicles,(CMV), Asbestos program, chair the LM Union committee and developed the Corporation ESH Contractor Safety Manual and Orientation with annual updates. As a Safety Professional and OSHA 500 Authorized trainer, I have trained over students in various disciplines to include, Fall Protection and Prevention, NFPA 70E, Lockout/Tagout, Fire Prevention and Protection, GHS (Hazcom), OSHA 10/30 for Construction, Confined Space and many others.
