ABOUT ELINOR-MARIA ONC

Software Engineer and self-teaching enthusiast. Being gifted my first laptop as a child marked the beginning of my one everlasting passion: software. It has gone through many stages, but the same child-like curiosity towards software has endured the years. Nowadays, I take heavy interest in full-stack software development, specializing in Typescript and Node.js. Who am I as a software engineer? An XP aficionado. I like a good Red-Green-Refactor cycle. My branches short-lived and my commits small. I like fast, deterministic CI/CD pipelines and short feedback cycles. If I touch a piece of code, it should be better than before. I view software engineering as an experimental activity that requires constant adaptation. Who am I as a person? I ask a lot of questions. I take initiative. If a challenge daunts me, I pick it up.
