About Elina McGill

Hi, I’m a Software Developer proficient in jQuery, React, Node, Express, and PostgreSQL. Working at Cognizant Technology Solutions reinvigorated my interest in technology and software engineering. This experience led me to teach myself basic software development skills like HTML, CSS, and Bootstrap. Shortly after, I enrolled as a student in Thinkful\'s Software Engineering Immersion Bootcamp to further my skills. I\'ve developed front-end and back-end development skills. I’m also knowledgeable in social media marketing and publishing which makes me an excellent communicator. Currently, I’m pursuing MERN full-stack development projects. I divided my time on campus among my obligations as an Alfond Scholar and a member of the Office of Community Engagement. Right now, I\'m exploring opportunities full-stack, front-end, and back-end opportunities and organizations with a strong ethical drive. I\'m enthusiastic about finding ways to combine my natural creativity, analytical mind, and desire to create positive change into one fulfilling career path. When I\'m not learning to be a better programmer, you can find me reading a great book with a strong cup of coffee, listening to genre-bending music, and perfecting my powerlifting technique.
