As Sr. Manager and Daily Management System (DMS) lead, I coordinate the activities of 4 regional managers though the implementation of the DMS strategic program across 25 manufacturing facilities in North America. My role focuses on providing clarity and strategy in our implementation methodology. My teams is responsible for driving operational transformation of our North American mills division through systematic management of our daily activities which will improve productivity. Our team works directly with regional senior leadership and mill site leadership to achieve cost-per-ton and EBITDA targets throughout the fiscal year. We focus on a culture of continuous improvement by building strong cross-functional relationships to sustain productivity gains in OEE and cost. Key areas of coaching were setting clear goals, having a strong review and response process, and shifting decision making closest to those impacted by the decision.
