I changed my major 6 times in college, which is ironic given I always disliked anything I felt was inefficient growing up: I had to always have a logical order of doing my chores and homework, optimized our routes when making plans with friends, and so forth. Surprisingly I still graduated on-time, but there was quite a bit of indecision before I took that first data analytics course. In order, I thought I wanted to be a materials scientist, a geologist, an electrical engineer, an entrepreneur, and a finance guy, but none of these really made me feel like I was leveraging all my strengths. Eventually I took an analytics course with an incredible professor, and it all clicked: finally, these were the concepts on how I could optimize Spotify algorithms to stop giving me weird song recommendations, or improve Apple Maps so I never had to waste time in traffic. I ended up going a different route, having now worked in the People Analytics/Human Capital industry for most of my career, but I\'m still driven by the same desire: I love using not just my technical and analytical ability to create value and drive solutions, but also my ability to communicate cross-functionally, leverage critical thinking to identify business problems and solutions, and set strategy and roadmaps to lead a team to achieve goals. Strengths I Leverage-Highly analytical mindset with technical ability to see full-stack projects through: Very strong ability to logically think through data sourcing and structuring (SQL, Splunk Cloud, Splunk Programming Language/SPL, Python, R, and strong Excel ability), conduct analyses (Python, R), and develop data products and reporting (GenAI platforms like CharmIQ, Tableau, PowerBI, R Shiny, Python Streamlit)-Use ability to communicate across all levels of an organization, technical to non-technical and Executive/C-Suite to frontline, to gather stakeholder input identifying pain points and needs, then develop strategic project plans that address these issues quickly with a MVP-approach while leading and developing a team to accomplish our objectives -Experience with full range of data structure, cleanliness, and availability: I’ve worked with beautifully structured, clean Experian datasets so big that I could only sample 10% of them at a time to develop consumer lending scorecards, but I’ve also designed and built a data pipeline and cloud-environment database from 8 different data sources with supporting tables that I then leveraged for thought leadership, data products, and developing proprietary Human Capital and people analytics metrics
