ABOUT ELIJAH AYEETA

I’m a software engineer with 9+ years of experience designing and building reliable, scalable systems across banking, fintech, and enterprise environments. I specialize in backend engineering, microservices architecture, APIs, and cloud-based systems that support high-volume, mission-critical operations.My background includes developing microservices that handle millions of daily transactions, improving system performance and security, and collaborating cross-functionally to deliver products that align with business goals. I bring a strong sense of ownership, a bias toward action, and a commitment to engineering that is both user-centered and operationally sound.I also recently worked with Ascend AI in Park City, Utah, as the Product Design and Strategy Lead during the Global Challenge Lab, a consulting project at the Thunderbird School of Global Management. There, I designed three AI-driven products from concept to strategy, collaborating closely with a team on governance, usability, and go-to-market alignment. This experience strengthened my ability to connect technology, business needs, and responsible AI principles to create solutions that are both meaningful and scalable. Today, I’m pursuing a Master of Global Management with a focus in Data Science and Global Business at Arizona State University. This phase of my journey is about expanding my impact, combining my technical roots with leadership, analytics, cloud engineering, and the global perspective needed to solve tomorrow’s challenges. My interests span software engineering, AI/ML applications, cloud platforms, data-driven systems, and any STEM-centered role that lets me build, innovate, and deliver value. Across every role, one theme has defined my work: Using technology to make systems smarter, faster, more accessible, and more impactful for real people.
