About Elijah-Terdoo Ikpanor

Currently serving as the Director of the Centre for Advancement and Linkages, at the Rev. Fr. Moses Orshio Adasu University, Makurdi. I\'m responsible for the University\'s international partnerships, research collaborations and funding. I am a Reader (Associate Professor) and researcher with over 15 years of teaching, research and community service. I have served on several committees for Rev. Fr. Moses Orshio Adasu University (formerly Benue State University), Benue State Government, Labour Unions and International Agencies. I have conducted commissioned research projects for Institutions and Organisations in the development sector. I\'m a consultant to Development Partners, Government Agencies and Organisations. I have trained and carried out capacity building services for agencies and organisations for over 8 years. I\'m also a cultural enthusiast currently sitting on the Board as a Director of \"Kyegh Sha Shwa\", an annual Tiv cultural events that host over participants in a three day event. My areas of specialty are; African Economic History, Periodic Markets and Rural Development, Conflict and Peace Studies, Development Studies, History ICT, Gender and Historiography.I have over 50 book chapters and journal articles published in edited books and peer review journals. I have also edited 15 books and published 5 including \"A History of Periodic Markets in Southern Tivland\" as a single author.
