Roe is an Account Executive and Assistant Vice President within Aon’s Commercial Risk Solutions team in the Southwest Region, and is based in Houston, TX. In this role, he is responsible for consulting with clients on their broader property & casualty risk portfolio by identifying exposures, managing commercial insurance market/broker relationships, and formulating tailored risk transfer solutions, as well as executing on policy terms, conditions, and servicing. Summary: Roe graduated from Texas A&M University-Kingsville as a student-athlete (Football) with an Industrial Engineering degree and a minor in Business Administration in Spring of 2019. He began his career in commercial insurance with an internship at Aon in the summer of 2018 and was hired on full time as an Account Specialist within the Project Solutions Group in June of 2019. After a year in Project Solutions, he transitioned within the Aon construction practice into an account management role for 6 months before being assigned to a major claims cleanup operation for a high-profile client in Pensacola, FL where he acted as the On-Site Claims Facilitation Manager for the remainder of the year. At the end of this project in early 2021, Roe was brought on in a hybrid role with both the Builder’s Risk and Claims National Practice groups, acting as both a Builder’s Risk Broker and National Claims Consultant. In these roles, he performed standard BR broking duties (Marketing, Binding, Renewals) and worked with Claims clients to develop bespoke procedures for tracking claims data, subrogation efforts, and reporting. Roe transitioned into a broking role within Aon Cyber Solutions at the beginning of 2022, where he worked with clients to optimize their cyber risk transfer and resilience programs. Most recently, he has joined the Commercial Risk Solutions group as an Account Executive in 2024, and will be working with clients across their entire commercial insurance portfolio. Given his sports background, Roe has a passion for team building and collaboration to achieve common goals within the organization. He enjoys playing, coaching and watching sports recreationally in his free time as well as reading, exercising, and spending time with his family and friends.
