Hi, I’m Eli. I am a Product Designer at Microsoft CoreAI (formerly Developer Division), working on GitHub Copilot in Visual Studio Code. I design AI-powered developer tools that bring agentic workflows into the editor, for features like Copilot Chat and Agent Mode. My work spans the design, development, and testing of new ways to support developers with natural language and LLMs. With a background in Architecture and Human-Computer Interaction, I specialize in making complex systems more usable for technical audiences. Prior to Microsoft, I spent several years at IBM designing cloud and AI infrastructure products. From introducing AI cluster training at scale, to launching new GPU and Accelerator services used by enterprise teams.
