As a Services Readiness Specialist in the U.S. Air Force Reserve, I am currently assigned to fitness operations, where I oversee all aspects of the fitness center, with a primary focus on conducting official fitness assessments. My responsibilities include leading briefings, managing documentation, supervising operations, providing demonstrations, and ensuring overall organizational effectiveness. Beyond fitness operations, I support the broader Services mission by training for contingency operations and deployment readiness, which includes force beddown, resource management, food readiness, fitness readiness, mortuary affairs, and search and recovery in collaboration with other units.In addition, I serve as an augmentee for the Base Honor Guard, training and performing ceremonial duties such as presenting the colors, conducting POW/MIA table ceremonies, and other honors. This unique extracurricular role distinguishes me as the only member of my unit currently serving with the Honor Guard.
