ABOUT ELIE NAOUM

The \"owner mentality\" is more than doing my job really well. Growing up in a small family business, I learned an important lesson in business - care about your people just as much as you do your products. I take great pride in every aspect of my work and I\'ve upheld that principle into my years of professional experience as an operational and strategic leader. My start-up experience began at Upright (Fund That Flip) with the focus on short term/quick-win process improvements, I quickly demonstrated my ability to organize and mobilize resources to drive larger cross-functional efforts. I grew into a leader in the organization by establishing a Business Operations team, a Strategic Initiatives team, and then partnering with executive leaders to build out a Strategy function in Product and Operations departments. Prior to Upright, I was a Manager with EY’s Advisory Consulting practice. I drove projects for Fortune 500 companies that consisted of post-acquisition integration, shared service center migration, designing internal controls process and systems, and general risk management advisory. Between EY and a federal government contractor, I was fortunate to spend a decade in consulting - an ever-learning industry. This experience enabled most of my professional growth – supporting over 20 clients across several industries, both private and public sectors. Even as my role on projects evolved from individual contributor to a people/engagement leader, the one thing that never changed was that internal and external executives and senior leaders knew I was dependable and sought me out to be a positive force and support them in keeping projects aimed towards our objective.
