As a second-year Chemical Engineering student at UCL, I am passionate about blending scientific curiosity with real-world applications. Born and raised between Lebanon and London, I bring a unique multicultural perspective to everything I do. My education at Thomas’s Battersea and Dulwich College London has shaped me into a disciplined and proactive individual, always eager to explore new challenges. At UCL, I am not just focused on academics; I\'m also committed to supporting my peers as a transition mentor for incoming students, helping them navigate university life and settle in smoothly. This role has taught me the value of leadership, empathy, and communication, skills I believe are crucial for any aspiring engineer. Having completed the first year with a First Class Honors overall grade, I have been able to provide invaluable advice to incoming first years My curiosity extends beyond the classroom. During my 4-week internship at Harley Street Clinic, I had the privilege of working alongside the world-renowned Dr. Hnein. This experience provided me with invaluable insights into the financial workings of private medical practice as well as biomedical engineering understandings of the technology used, highlighting the importance of cross-disciplinary knowledge in healthcare and engineering. I was awarded the Sir Chris Harold Prize for Scientific Research, a recognition of my dedication to scientific inquiry and my ability to conduct rigorous research. This accolade has motivated me to continue pursuing research opportunities that push the boundaries of knowledge and contribute to meaningful advancements in the field of chemical engineering. I am driven by a desire to make a tangible impact through engineering, whether it\'s developing sustainable solutions or pioneering new technologies.
