ABOUT ELI AWTREY
I\'m an assistant professor of management at the University of Cincinnati in the Carl H. Lindner College of Business. My primary responsibility is conducting research on the \"people side of management\", including topics such as leadership development, team dynamics, decision making, and emotions. I use primarily quantitative methodologies in my research (via the R programming language), and I am conversant in qualitative methods as well. I also teach on these topics at the graduate level, covering quantitative research methods at the doctoral level and organizational behavior, organizational psychology, and team leadership at the masters level. Prior to my academic career, I worked for 10+ years in non-profit management (coaching and leadership development) and market research (financial services and technology).
