About Elias R.
I am a graduate of The George Washington University Law School with a Juris Doctorate degree, following my undergraduate degree from the University of California at Santa Barbara with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science. I have held administrative positions at a health and wellness consultation group in northern California, the corporate office for a major staffing agency in southern California, and in the finance department of the leading custom Lithium Ion battery company in the United States. I have additionally worked in political campaign management, specifically organizing large impromptu events and voter outreach and registration, as well as in IP contracts for Lionsgate Films International. My work experience is very broad and has garnered skill development in clientele management, asset management and protection, corporate administrative management, IT upkeep and management skills, and a wide variety of text and web based research. My experience as a tutor and motivational coach has been especially gratifying. I love it because I love to see people get where they want to go. That means very different things to different students, and I pride myself on getting to know each client and working with their own emphasis rather than my own predetermined goals.My law school education focused specifically in intellectual property law, heavily in copyright law, trademarks, and licensing contracts. I am looking to expand my work experience by wearing a wide variety of \"hats\" as I further my professional profile, continuing to hone the skills I use in a successful legal and business development career.When I am not working, I am a fitness enthusiast, amateur chef, enjoy traveling and backpacking, and Texas Hold \'em no limit poker. I love to make a fool of myself trying to be competent in snowboarding, golfing, and tennis- and think I MIGHT just be able to give Emeril Lagasse a run for his money in the kitchen.
