Hi! I’m a recent graduate from Penn State University, where I earned a B.S. in Geography with a minor in GIS, along with certificates in GIS and Global Environmental Systems.I’ve always been curious about the way people and places connect — that’s what led me to geography. Through my studies, I developed a strong foundation in spatial analysis, cartography, and GIS tools like ArcGIS, QGIS, and GPS technology. I also became interested in land surveying, where I’ve begun learning the value of fieldwork, accuracy, and how data collected on the ground supports smart planning and development.While I’m early in my career, I’ve already contributed to projects related to environmental planning, land development, and urban infrastructure. 1st project:* Supported a large-scale GIS data enhancement project for a 3rd-party utility company, focused on confirming and integrating services for an estimated customer meters.* Utilized current SAP meter data, parcel information, and existing GIS infrastructure to ensure accurate representation of service lines within the utility network in ArcGIS Pro and put the information in a spreadsheet.* Performed comprehensive QA/QC on all programmatically entered services, risers, and tees to ensure:* Spatial accuracy * Attribution accuracy * Proper network connectivity* Maintained GIS data integrity by identifying and updating missing infrastructure elements during production, including:* Risers * Transitions * Reducers * End caps* Posted validated designs to the parent layer upon completion.* Notified the 3rd-party utility company when meters were ready for final review and approval.
