About Elia Rybolt

It all started when I established my garden in 2018, Holloway Hydrangeas, including 10+ varieties and types of hydrangeas. Since then, the garden has flourished into teaching others as well as my own experiential learning project. I have documented the garden through visuals to communicate and produce educational content about hydrangeas, soils, and related agriculture topics to increase awareness and educate all audiences about the joys of gardening. Other passions include building and engaging in communities, and volunteer service.While attending Oregon State University, I stayed actively involved with various student club organizations, worked on-campus, developed meaningful relationships, and held multiple leadership roles within the community. Additionally, I have had the opportunity to study abroad in England and Scotland, conduct undergraduate research, and complete an internship, all offered from the Department of Agricultural Education & Agricultural Sciences.After graduating, I am attending New Mexico State University as a Graduate Research Assistant for the Department of Agricultural & Extension Education with graduate studies in Agricultural Communications and Communication Studies. I served as the Region Chapter Consultant of the National Leadership Team for Sigma Alpha Sorority. I stay actively involved in research, teaching, and outreach/service activities to support the Land-grant mission.
