Proactively creating and implementing procedures and plans to prepare 6 facilities with 1,690 beds for annual and unplanned inspections from the state and federal government. Infused hope & structure to a devastated community of residents, staff and family members; Took action to prevent the loss of additional lives and worked with residents & staff recovering from the virus. Provided employment to people who lost jobs due to COVID-19. Maintain up-to-the-hr. compliance for COVID-19 updates and best practices for a wide range of specialty care offered in facilities including Vent units, Dialysis, young adult, LTSR, Telehealth, Neuro Care, Stroke, IV Therapy, Bariatric Care, Dysphagia care, Enteral and Parenteral Feeding, Pulmonary, Wound, Cardiac and Ostomy Care. Create atmosphere of camaraderie and excellence among staff in ensuring optimal patient care. Collaborate with department managers and staff in reviewing and upgrading policies, procedures, surveillance plans, telehealth usage, hiring process and emergency staffing strategies. Work with Infection Control experts, cohort symptomatic and asymptomatic residents and communicate openly with families. Handle reporting to CDC, CMS and DOH including PPE availability.
