   Since moving to Boston in 2020, what’s kept me up at night is a fear that my car could be towed, which is a surprisingly common, painful experience. The average Boston driver gets towed once every two years, with the primary culprit being street cleaning. I co-created the SMS alert service “Tow Zone Alerts” to help residents avoid the hassle and help cities maintain safe, clean streets. towzonealerts.com provides warnings before temporary no-parking zones and real-time alerts based on license plate reports and ticket data. The service has reduced ticketing and towing rates for subscribers by 85% based on Boston\'s public logs, and has been featured in the Boston Globe, Cambridge Day, Bay State Banner, Boston Bulletin, Boston Globe Today, Channel 7 News, and WBUR and WBZ radio.
