I would describe myself as a versatile and creative communications professional who has worked in journalism, politics/government, academia, PR and the not-for-profit sector. My strengths include a healthy respect for deadlines, an ability to turn complex ideas into plain English, and a strong work ethic. For the past several years, I have worked as a communications consultant and freelance writer and editor for a number of clients. My work has involved pitching stories to media, drafting crisis communications plans, and a great deal of ghostwriting. Consulting has its ups and downs, and my goal is to get back to full-time employment.
