About Eli Miller
Driven by a passion for analytics and sports, I\'ve cultivated a diverse background over four years, combining internships in the sports industry with substantial consulting work in economics. My journey started in the Syracuse ticketing department, where I played a pivotal role in repricing Football season tickets, followed by impactful work at SBRnet, leveraging Nielsen, demographic, and locational data to guide the company and help to cultivate new investors. As a Data Scientist Intern at FanDuel, I developed advanced probability models for their sportsbook, and during my tenure with the Chicago Blackhawks, I created valuable analytics tools, including a Tableau dashboard for brand and ad performance analysis. My independent economic research includes a critical analysis of Chicago\'s Tax Incremental Financing (TIF) program, using regression and machine learning techniques to assess its impact on community growth. Academically, I thrived in the Falk College Sport Analytics and Maxwell School Economics programs, producing a thesis on MLB pitcher injuries and earning 3rd place in the AXS National Sports Analytics Championship with my innovative ticket pricing model. Now I work with E15 Group in a full time position as the primary analyst for food and beverage sales for the LA Lakers, LA Kings, LA Sparks, and LA Galaxy.
