About Eli Holmes

I am a missionary-in-training committed to the advance of the gospel among the unreached and the strengthening of the global Church through biblically faithful theology and ecclesiology. My calling is anchored in the Great Commission and the multiplication of healthy, indigenous churches among peoples where Christ is least known.I have trekked through the Himalayas of Nepal to engage unreached people groups in spiritually isolated regions, partnering in evangelism, discipleship, and foundational church-planting efforts in difficult terrain. In South America, I traveled by boat down the Amazon River to reach rural jungle tribes, supporting frontline ministry initiatives in remote villages where access is limited and gospel presence is minimal. These experiences required endurance, cultural humility, and a commitment to contextualized disciple-making within developing ecclesial structures.In Eastern Europe, I served Ukrainian and Gazan refugees displaced by war, integrating humanitarian aid with gospel proclamation and trauma-aware pastoral care. In Nicaragua, I participated in a strategic church survey initiative designed to assess community dynamics, strengthen local ecclesiology, and contribute to sustainable, long-term mission strategy.My theological training has grounded me in systematic theology, missiology, and ecclesiology, shaping a ministry philosophy centered not merely on individual conversion but on the establishment of biblically ordered churches that multiply. I teach across cultures with the aim of equipping disciples to become disciple-makers and developing leaders capable of planting and shepherding churches within their own cultural contexts.In partnership with the International Mission Board and aligned with Project I am pursuing long-term missionary service marked by theological depth, strategic intentionality, and an unwavering conviction that Christ is worthy of worship from every tribe, language, people, and nation.
