ABOUT ELI HALIGUA

I began my sound career in 2005 at Açık Radyo. After six years of broadcasting experience, I switched my focus to audio post-production and motion picture works. I have worked in every aspect of sound and forged an international career with projects from Türkiye, the UK, France, Canada, and the US. I contributed to projects including feature and short films, commercials, tv series, animation series, video games, as well as a remarkable theatre show in Vancouver.Throughout my journey, I have garnered a reputation for excellence, securing 11 prestigious awards from esteemed institutions in Toronto, Vancouver, Italy, Greece, and Türkiye, alongside nominations for 4 standout projects. Notably, I played a pivotal role in a team nominated for the Emmy Sound Awards for an animated show.As a Supervising Sound Editor/Re-recording Mixer, my work has been screened at top-tier international film festivals such as Cannes, Venice, Berlinale, Montreal, Karlovy Vary, Sarajevo, SXSW, and the Sitges International Film Festival. Additionally, I have had the privilege of contributing to numerous projects for Netflix and HBO.I graduated from SAE Sound Engineering School in Istanbul and was awarded as an honour student. I received my Master\'s Degree in Sound Technologies with a degree from Bahçeşehir University, where I wrote my thesis on the effects of Dolby Atmos on the sound designers\' approach in Türkiye. I studied Digital Music Production in Vancouver. I have been living in Vancouver since 2018. I work as a a sound supervisor located in Vancouver, work for the projects from Los Angeles, London, and Türkiye.
