Manage end-to-end procurement of surgical instruments and related medical device components, ensuring compliance with Teleflex’s quality and regulatory standards.• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including R&D, Quality, Engineering, and Planning to ensure timely availability of materials for production and new product introduction (NPI).• Develop and maintain strong supplier relationships; evaluate vendor performance, negotiate pricing and delivery schedules, and ensure adherence to service-level agreements.• Utilize SAP and ERP to issue purchase orders, track deliveries, resolve invoice discrepancies, and monitor supplier performance metrics.• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with planning and logistics teams to optimize stock levels, reduce excess, and avoid shortages.• Manage change orders, ECNs (Engineering Change Notices), and supplier onboarding in alignment with Teleflex’s PLM systems and quality documentation processes.• Support FAI (First Article Inspection) and validation activities for new instruments and tooling, including coordination with external manufacturers and quality assurance teams.• Participate in corrective and preventive action (CAPA) and non-conformance (NC) processes related to supplier quality and procurement deviations.• Ensure all purchases comply with ISO 13485, FDA, and EU MDR regulatory requirements for medical devices.• Collaborated closely with the marketing team on cross-functional projects involving the addition of new materials, product discontinuations, replacements, and raw material or supplier changes—ensuring alignment with market needs, regulatory requirements, and procurement timelines.
