I am a Postdoctoral Researcher at the AJ Drexel Autism Institute under the supervision of Professor Giacomo Vivanti and Professor Elisabeth Sheridan. I hold a Ph.D. in Cognitive Science from the University of Trento, Department of Psychology and Cognitive Science, where I investigated sex differences in autistic preschoolers. My research focuses on autism and neurodevelopmental conditions, with a particular interest in early diagnosis and intervention, minimally speaking autistic individuals and aging autistic adults.I am a Research Associate (non-employee) at the University of Trento, where I collaborate on research projects related to neurodiversity, autism, and programs to support maltreated children.I am a member of the organizing committee of the Italian Special Interest Group on Early Diagnosis and Intervention for Children with Neurodevelopmental Risk, contributing to the advancement of early detection and support strategies.Beyond academia, I served as the Secretary of the Advisory Body of the Emilia-Romagna Board of Psychologists (Bologna, Italy), representing licensed psychologists under 35 and recent psychology graduates. Currently, I am co-President of the Drexel Postdoctoral Association https://drexel.edu/medicine/academics/postdoctoral-studies/postdoc-community/ I am passionate about advancing evidence-based approaches to support autistic individuals and their families, bridging research and practice to improve early identification and intervention, and fostering social, school, and workplace opportunities and accessibility
