ABOUT ELENI MALTAS
Because of my passion for music, I have had the opportunity to work as a musician, DJ, credited mastering engineer, concert venue booking and production manager, and event producer all across NYC. My experience includes: Increasing the bookings for the Chelsea Music Hall up to full capacity as the Production and Bookings Manager and managing all aspects of events seven days a week. Rebranding Aerial Sound NYC, streamlining business operations, mastering over 100 records, and earning five credits on studio albums as a Mastering Engineer and Marketing Manager. Consulting with Soul in the Horn, a global event curation and production company, to develop their first website, launch first-to-market virtual events for Universal Records Label Division, and close new business with large-scale clients. Today, I bring all of this experience together as a consultant for event production companies, record labels, event/concert venues, and music-related businesses. This allows me to help build out marketing and promotional strategies for businesses and events, manage complex projects from start to finish, and ideate engaging, one-of-a-kind events (virtual and live) that draw audiences. In addition to my hands-on experience, I earned my Master of Music in Music Technology from NYU as well as a bachelor’s degree in Music Business from Monmouth University. Today, I periodically teach a Master Class for NYU’s graduate program on music mastering and career development.
