About Eleni Fleckenstein
I am a current DPT student at Long Island University Brooklyn. I am working toward becoming a pediatric physical therapist so that I can help children finding solutions to overcome obstacles and participate in endless opportunities. Pediatric physical therapy allows me to use my physical therapy education creatively to promote quality functional movement with interventions that are fun and adaptable. My clinical experience currently includes 6 weeks of outpatient orthopedic clinic and upcoming 10 weeks at a skilled nursing facility. I worked as an aide at an outpatient orthopedic clinic for over one year and have shadowed physical therapists in many settings including in-patient pediatrics, home-care and at school settings.
