Today, pharmacy-related politics, regulation, and technology are more dynamic than ever before. It is an era of drug importation, the opioid epidemic & regulatory changes. Patients play a more active role in their healthcare. I find the current industry landscape fascinating, fun, and full of opportunities to improve public health. As a pharmacist and senior executive with diverse healthcare leadership spanning retail/corporate, nonprofit, and public sector at the state, national, and international levels, I have a keen ability to view issues from multiple lenses. This enables me to design better solutions and strategies. SUBJECT MATTER EXPERTISE: Global Drug Supply Chain Counterfeit Drugs Drug Importation Stakeholder Engagement KEY STRENGTHS: NONPROFIT & GOVERNMENT LEADERSHIP (20 years) – Executive Director for NISPC and Associate Executive Director at NABP. Set momentum for change and led transformative initiatives at FDA. INDUSTRY INNOVATOR - Pioneered NABP’s VAWD and DMEPOS programs and their State Relations department; and other impactful programs such as Giant’s Diabetes Care and FDA’s Drug Supply Chain Integrity programs.
