About Elena Nye

I\'m obsessed with problem solving. There is something really exciting to casually hear someone struggling through a particularly long, cumbersome or annoying task and then getting together to see what we can do about that. One of my strongest qualities has to be my ability and desire to learn new things. If I could toot my horn about 1 thing, it would be that I truly believe I can learn to do anything and execute upon that knowledge to exceed both mine and my employer\'s expectations. To me \'No\' is an answer, I can do something with \'No\'. Now we know what we don\'t want and that is one step closer to getting what we do want. One of the top things I encouraged with my staff is to become the expert of anything you can. That is really how I got to where I am. I saw an opening where we needed knowledge in our organization. I learned how to do it and then it became my job. There may not have been an official job opening, but I increased my value and created an opportunity for myself that did not previously exist. I believe than anyone can do that for themselves through hard work, curiosity and a great attitude.
