ABOUT ELENA MAFFUCCI
I am a Milan-based assistant director and production manager. I am looking for new collaborations on which to focus my energy. My strongest points are- knowledge of the cinema’s language and of the film production system and industry- good at mediation when working in a team- ability to coordinate others- problem solving capacity, pragmatic and self-motivated - high attention to details and very organized- able to work successfully under pressure, to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and to adapt to any situation I specialised in film production at the School of Cinema, Television and New Media in Milan (Fondazione Milano – Italy).From an early age I have cultivated a keen interest for the world of performing arts. I attended acting courses and I directed an amateur children\'s acting company. At the age of 14 I worked as cinematographer in my town cinema. It was a great opportunity for me to discover there were many aspects of movie making of which I needed to know more. In 2013 I attended a high qualification intensive course in Filmmaking taught by Marco Bellocchio, the president of the Cineteca of Bologna and one of the most important Italian Directors.I have worked on several TV Programs, advertising sets and TV productions in Italy and in London, as Assistant Production for Discovery Channel, Assistant Director for AllMusic Italy, Editing Assistant for Fremantle during “Xfactor Live”. At the moment I work as Freelance Production Assistant, Floor AD Runner and Assistant Director.
