ABOUT ELENA M.

I\'ve always been fascinated by people - who we are, and why we do what we do. After college, I worked as a clinical research coordinator, talking to people with memory disorders and their loved ones. I wished I could do more to help patients and families once they left the clinic. Around this time, I learned about UX from friends, and it struck a chord. If I wanted to make a difference, I could help teams understand and learn from users, and create more inclusive experiences. Luckily, now I get to do just that as a UX researcher. I work with folks from different specialities to create useful, usable, and understandable products based on insights about our users\' behaviors and motivations.I\'m especially interested in inclusion, health, and entertainment, and am an IAAP-Certified Professional in Accessibility Core Competency (CPACC).Headshot credit: Carol Shoaff
