About Elena Puorro
I am a project manager for MRK Partners, Inc. I manage the company\'s acquisition and development projects from start to finish, working with non-profit partners, housing authorities, lenders, tax credit syndicators and other personnel necessary. Previously, I was a member of the CBRE Investment Properties and Capital Markets team in Boise, ID. I specialized in helping clients with placing debt and equity financing for multifamily, office, retail, industrial and hospitality properties throughout the State of Idaho. Prior to that role, I was a Vice President/Lead Production Analyst with CBRE Capital Markets Debt & Structured Finance team. I worked nationally to help originate affordable and market rate multifamily and healthcare loans with a focus on FHA-insured debt. I have been active in every stage of the FHA production process and partnered with the top FHA producer in the company.I was at CBRE for over eight and a half years after gaining my FHA experience at Walker & Dunlop as an Underwriting Analyst. I began my commercial real estate career with Capital One in 2006, where I worked for six years before joining Walker & Dunlop.I received my Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with an emphasis on Management and Organizational Behavior at University of Missouri – St. Louis. I was on the Dean’s List and part of Alpha Mu Alpha International Marketing Professional Honorary Society.
