ABOUT ELENA PIZZO
I am a Junior Embryologist now working at Chianciano Salute in Chianciano Terme, Italy. During my Master\'s degree in Biotechnologies of Human Reproduction, I performed a 1-year internship at the Institute for Reproductive Medicine, Weill Cornell Medicine (WCM). My training consisted of the acquisition of knowledge in both andrology clinical work and the research field, mainly focusing on genome editing of spermatozoa through CRISPR-Cas9. During my Bachelor\'s degree, I attended the Institut de Génétique Moléculaire de Montpellier (IGMM), where I investigated the epigenetic phenomenon of X-chromosome inactivation in female mammals by using the RNA FISH technique.
