ABOUT ELENA NAVARRO GUERRERO
I am a biotech scientist with a PhD in stem cell biomedicine from University of Seville. I am currentlyHead of Functional Genomics in neurodegeneration, building CRISPR-based discovery platforms in human iPSC models to identify and de-risk therapeutic targets for Alzheimer’s disease. I have developed a CRISPR platform at the High Throughput Cellular Screening Facility, within the Target Discovery Institute (University of Oxford). I have 9 years of experience developing and producing genome wide CRISPR/Cas9 screenings in diverse biological models, including pancreatic beta cells, hepatocytes, adipocytes, patient- and iPSC-derived human models. In 2022, I joined Xcellomics, a partnership between the University of oxford and Recursion.
