About Elena Titus
Elena Titus is a Barrett Honors College student at Arizona State University finishing her degree in Biological Sciences (neurobiology, physiology, and behavior) and minor in business. Her goal is to work in the medical field as a PA. Her passion for healthcare has skyrocketed in her clinical role at Phoenix Children’s Hospital, where she directly assists nurses and Child Life. Additionally, being a Clinic Assistant in an orthopedic office has strengthened her medical experience, knowledge, and terminology. She has developed many skills throughout her undergraduate experience that are transferable to her future role in healthcare. Overseeing professional development, collaboration, and communication in her roles with ASU’s Student Alumni Association and leading students intentionally through cycle classes as a Group Fitness Instructor at the ASU Tempe SDFC are just a fraction of these. Her passions outside of these lie in travel, as she has participated in study abroad programs and is reflecting on these experiences in her Honors Thesis research. She is most passionate about family legacy, honoring it through her work with the ASU Alumni Association and as a recipient of their Legacy Scholarship.

As a new role on the ASU Student Alumni Association’s executive board, I facilitate events tailored to developing professionalism among the SAA staff and the general student body. Additionally, I work with ASU Career Services on the Career Club Program initiative, where these events will eventually lead the organization to achieve a certification, indicating career readiness within the organization, which will be accessible to potential employers and note our professional preparedness. As someone passionate about strengthening these skills, I believe they are critical to maintain in any workspace, especially in a collaborative healthcare environment.
