   With over two decades of dedicated service at Hope House Foundation, I am passionate about creating meaningful connections that support our mission of empowering individuals with developmental disabilities to live independently. Since joining Hope House full-time in I’ve led our fundraising and marketing efforts, spearheaded numerous events, and cultivated lasting partnerships that have significantly expanded our community reach.One of my proudest achievements has been growing the Spring and Fall Stockley Gardens Arts Festival. My journey with Hope House began in the early ’90s when I coordinated this very festival part-time. I was immediately drawn to the organization’s mission, creative fundraising approach, and the joy of seeing the people we support thrive in their communities.Beyond Hope House, I’ve had the privilege of serving on the Board and Events Chair for the Ghent Business Association, Secretary of the Hampton Roads Gift Planning Council, and Membership Chair for Hampton Roads Business Outreach.My efforts have been recognized with honors such as the Fiorello H. La Guardia Award, the Amazing Grace Award, the Virginia Wesleyan Alumni Service Award, and the YWCA’s Women of Distinction Award for the Arts.At the heart of my work is a simple belief: when we build strong relationships, we build stronger communities.
