ABOUT ELENA KRÜGER

I support global companies across various sectors in assessing human rights risks in their own operations and supply chains, aligning with international standards and emerging legislations. I execute multiple advisory projects that involve preparing gap analysis, conducting risk assessments with preventive measures, assessing effectiveness, developing action plans with roadmaps and developing human rights policies for companies to meet legal requirements. As part of double materiality assessments, I am responsible for assessing client\'s impacts, risks and opportunities and the engagement of stakeholders.Prior, I gained international work experience at a non-profit organization for labour rights in the garment sector in India. I prepared training workshops to educate workers about their rights and guided them through grievance mechanisms. Besides, I delivered workshops to experts across the industry about the relationship between companies purchasing practices with labour working conditions.My academic background includes a Master of Science in Sustainable Business Management. My studies have provided me with a solid foundation in sustainability and corporate responsibility.I am passionate about creating impactful transformational change while harmonizing a business-driven approach. Always eager to learn and collaborate with those who share my vision.
