About Elena Herranz Muelas
I am a nuclear physicist with a strong expertise in medical imaging and neuroscience. I have contributed to the technical development of imaging methods with the primary purpose of translating technical advances to improve people’s lives. My extensive experience in the image processing field encompasses data acquisition, analysis, reconstruction, registration, quantification and simulation. I further specialize in novel, cutting-edge tools to image the human brain, such as ultra-high field 7 Tesla MRI, simultaneous PET/MR and advance MR diffusion imaging.
