ABOUT ELENA HARTNELL
I am an enthusiastic and dedicated Chemical Engineering student at Oregon State University and a proud member of Kappa Kappa Gamma. As a Chemical Engineering major, I am deeply passionate about exploring the principles of chemistry, physics, and mathematics to solve complex problems and innovate within the field. I am interested in various areas within process optimization. Being a member of Kappa Kappa Gamma has provided me with a supportive community and countless opportunities for personal growth. Balancing the demands of a challenging academic program with the responsibilities and activities of sorority life has taught me invaluable skills in time management, organization, and resilience. I have learned to prioritize tasks, set achievable goals, and maintain a healthy work-life balance. I also serve as the Fundraising/Event Chair of OSU’s Chemical, Biological and Environmental Engineering Club, where I collaborate with peers and industry experts to further my knowledge and skills. My goal is to leverage my engineering expertise and the leadership skills I have developed to make a meaningful impact in the field of chemical engineering.
