ABOUT ELENA CORINA GRIGORE
I am a Senior Research Scientist at Latitude AI and I work on the Learned Autonomy Behavior team. I work on modeling the behavior of the agents of interest present in the self-driving car\'s environment (e.g, vehicles, bicyclists, pedestrians, etc.). I create and build models of how agents behave on the road, focusing on developing deep learning models to predict the future trajectories, intentions, and space occupancy of such agents. Prior to Latitude AI, I was with Argo AI on the Prediction, Deep Forecasting team, where I worked with much of the same team and colleagues as I do presently.Previously, I completed my Ph.D. in robotics within the Department of Computer Science at Yale University. During my Ph.D, I focused on developing adaptive robots that can learn about the structure and state of a task in order to provide supportive behaviors to a user performing this task. During the summer of 2017, I interned at Uber ATG, working on deep learning for self-driving car perception.
