ABOUT ELENA CASAGRANDE

Associate Director in Quality Assurance with 17 years of experience in clinical trials across Europe and globally, combining strategic oversight with a passion for team development and cross-functional collaboration.I bring extensive experience leading international teams across EMEA (including Russia and Egypt), APAC (China and India), and North America, composed of staff with different seniority levels, technical backgrounds, and skillsets. My leadership style centers on empowering individuals, fostering growth, and building high-performing teams united by a commitment to excellence.With over 15 years in QA, I’ve led the development and review of processes to support effective implementation of departmental strategy; overseen the intake and execution of global and cross-regional contracted and vendor audit programs; and collaborated strategically with vendor management to align and implement the global vendor qualification strategy. My prior experience also spans extensive GCP auditing—covering project, process, and vendor audits—oversight of audit deliverables from cross-regional teams, controlled document creation and review, and quality systems initiatives.While I have a strong foundation in GCP auditing and regulatory intelligence, my current focus is on leadership, operational excellence, and creating value through people and process.
