The AAC lab uses BCI systems to provide new ways for these individuals to communicateKey Focus Areas:BCI Research: Investigating the use of the P300 wave in non-invasive BCIs for communication access.Signal Analysis: Utilizing tools like BrainVision Analyzer and MATLAB to process and analyze EEG data.Pediatric Focus: Prioritizing research on children, a population underrepresented in current AAC and BCI As a research assistant, I contribute to:Designing and running experiments to evaluate BCI performance.Preprocessing, analyzing, and interpreting EEG data for actionable insights.Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to refine system usability and design.Our mission is to push BCI technology forward, creating more intuitive, inclusive communication solutions for individuals across all ages
