Nicoletta SetolaAbstract: Defining guidelines and design strategies for the improvement of the physical environment according to an approach that favours the integration of physical, digital and organizational networks to promote the process of healthy and active aging for urban communities and individuals. The research explores the following areas: primary health and social care facilities in the new territorial reform; the public space system of territorial health and social care facilities; the design of sensory spaces, in particular in the applied field of health stress reduction; the integration of spaces and automation technologies for healthy aging.

A lifespan project for people with Autism Spectrum Disorders\" won the awards: FUP 2018 and Arch Giovanni Neri Serneri (ed research fellow at the Department of Architecture of the Universty of Florence (DIDA-UNIFI) in the project \"Sensory design for spaces of territorial socio-health structures for healthy and active aging\"- PNRR project PE8 AGE-IT “Aging Well in an Aging Society”.She has contributed to many researches, including:\"Health promoting buildings and healthy neighborhoods.
